Sergio Ramos will not be suspended for the first leg of Real Madrid's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
Ramos was suspended for the second leg of the quarterfinal at home to Juventus on Wednesday after having been sent off in the first game and watched most of it from the Bernabeu stands. But Ramos went down into the tunnel during the closing minutes.
"UEFA have told us there is no risk of a ban as there is not reason for one," Emilio Butragueno said.
Real Madrid will play Bayern Munich in the semifinals of the Champions League while Liverpool drew Roma.
Mohamed Salah will play against his former club in the tie.
“Of the three options that were available I’ve never played there before so that is already exciting,” said Jurgen Klopp. “It will be two difficult games. Roma are a fantastic side as you saw against Barcelona. They played a very good season after a difficult transfer window for them last summer. They lost Mo, Emerson and other key players but still they played a really good season and are fighting for the Champions League again. When we face Roma we will know everything about them. I saw the second leg against Barcelona and they were outstandingly good.”
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Roma and Liverpool have advanced to the semifinals of the 2017-2018 Champions League. The draw will take place on Friday.
Real Madrid went into their match on Wednesday ahead of Juventus 3-0 on aggregate, but gave up three successive goals to set up a potential comeback for the ages. Unlike Barcelona against Roma on Tuesday, Real Madrid thwarted the comeback when referee Michael Oliver awarded a penalty in stoppage time. Gigi Buffon was sent off with a straight red card for dissent before Cristiano Ronaldo beat Wojciech Szczęsny from the spot to put Real Madrid up 4-3 on aggregate.
Roma had completed a similar comeback over Barcelona on Tuesday, beating them 3-0 and advancing on away goals with the tie at 4-4 on aggregate.
Liverpool defeated Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate, while Bayern played Sevilla to a draw on Wednesday to advance 2-1 on aggregate.
